On this page you can find code snippets and examples for algorithms presented in the book. Please note that the provided code examples as matlab functions are only intended to showcase algorithmic principles – they are not suited to be used without parameter optimization and additional algorithmic tuning.

The majority of these Matlab sources require the Matlab Signal Processing Toolbox installed. Several scripts (such as MFCCs and Gammatone filters) are based on implementations in Slaney’s Auditory Toolbox.

All m-files can be downloaded directly from this github repository.

  1. i am doing project ” speech and music discrimination” . im using spectral roll off, centroid, chroma as features to discriminate . i actual tried your code . its executing but it is not displaying output . i do no what or we have call the function to discriminator so it will discriminate automatically . reply me soon

    We need to analyze some audio files to extract features like peaks, time differences between peaks, shapes of audio (if present) between peaks. Will this code work with python after porting? Does python have all libraries necessary?
